Hope4BarkingDagenham homeless night shelter got a huge boost this weekend as Trinity Church Choir and Orchestra from Brentwood held a free concert at St. Elisabeth’s Church, Wood Lane. Funds and awareness was raised for this, new much needed ministry in Barking & Dagenham.
Those who came heard how God brought together various churches to step out in faith to help the homeless of Barking & Dagenham. The singing raised the roof and over £4,000 was raised too. Over 300 people came over the two nights. Among them were honoured guests, Her Worshipful, The Mayor of Barking and Dagenham, Councillor Elizabeth Kangethe and Leader of the Council, Cllr. Darren Rodwell. Both expressed their heartfelt thanks and pledged their support to this vital community work.
